Dulles Montessori School accepts enrollment of children from 16 months through 3½ years of age for our pre-primary program and 3½ through 6 years of age for the primary program during the academic school year.
The application will be accepted throughout the year on an ongoing basis. Admission is on a "first come, first serve basis" and a waiting list is maintained for future openings. As the Montessori program is individualized, a child may begin at any time during the year. The first step is to make an appointment to come visit the school with or without your child. On completion of the school tour, you will be handed an application package.
The school tuition is payable to DMS in two ways: automatic ACH debit from a Checking / Savings Account or with a Credit Card (3% processing fee is assessed on payments made with a credit card) which is payable on the first of every month. The office will provide the “Tuition Payment Form” to be completed by the parents and returned back to the school before the first day of school. All payments will be made payable to “Dulles Montessori School” on the 1st of each month.
The children will bring morning and afternoon snacks from home daily. The school provides the parents the option of sending a home lunch or buying the school lunch each month.
An Application Fee of $150 is due for all new students along with the application form. An Activity Fee of $250 is due in September along with the September tuition. All students reenrolling for next school year will pay a Re Enrollment Fee of $100 each subsequent year.
The full tuition will be assessed for partial/full month absence during the academic school year and is payable on the 1st of every month. No refund or prorating of the tuition fees will be made for days missed due to but not limited to illness, snow days or holidays planned during the contracted school year.
A 3 % tuition discount will be offered to an enrolling sibling during the same academic school year. The discount is applied to the lesser of the tuitions paid and cannot be combined.
A thirty day (30) written notice of your intention to withdraw your child is required by the School. The tuition will not be prorated due to early withdrawal in the last month of enrollment at school.
